About EWMS 2024
The seventh edition of EurAsia Waste Management Symposium, will take place from 21 to 23 October 2024 at YTU Davutpaşa Congress & Cultural Center, Istanbul, Turkiye.
EurAsia Waste Management
Symposium is being organized bi-annually by Environmental Engineering
Department of Yildiz Technical University, with collaboration of Istanbul
Environmental Management Industry and Trade Inc. (ISTAC). Scheduled to take
place from October 21 to 23, 2024, the symposium aims to foster
collaboration, exchange innovative ideas, and address the pressing
challenges our planet faces in waste management.
EurAsia Waste Management
Symposium aims to provide a comprehensive overview of effective waste
management strategies across the Asian and the European regions. Also, the
symposium provide the opportunity to discuss and evaluate the current and
future regional waste management strategies and recycling projects, to
establish business or research relations and to find global partners for
future collaboration. All parties of waste management such as universities,
industrial organizations, public institutions and organizations, local
governments and policy makers are welcome to attend to the symposium to
share their experiences, engage with experts, and shape the future of waste
management.
All submitted papers will undergo rigorous peer review by distinguished
members of the Scientific Committee. Accepted papers will be processed for
publication in the SCOPUS indexed journal Environmental Research and
Technology, an open-access journal published by Yildiz Technical University.
The symposium will cover a
spectrum of waste management areas, including legislation, collection,
transport, treatment, and recycling options for municipal, hazardous,
medical, and other waste types. The Symposium will include oral
presentations, poster sessions, and specialized workshops. Join us for three
days of insightful discussions, keynote presentations, workshops, and
networking opportunities. Explore cutting-edge research, advancements in
technology, and sustainable solutions that contribute to a cleaner,
healthier future.
We hope EurAsia Waste Management Symposium will be the largest event for
colleagues to promote exchanges to contribute to development of solid waste
management in Asia and Europe.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
A partial support (e.g. airfare or hotel) may be possible for the applications by early career scientists (35 years of age or younger) from “low or middle income countries” to attend the symposium. The applicant must submit at least one abstract and must be registered and make the payment for the registration fee to the symposium. A short curriculum vitae and an Application Form for Financial Support are required. Applicants must send their application form and CV to
info@eurasiasymposium.com. Please remember that the registration fee cannot be waived in any case.
